Resilience and Reach- A Gathering of Wisdom and Impact from Integral Master Coaches™ Around the World

Do you ever look around at the world we’re living in and ask yourself, what is actually going on here? We’re in times of rapid change, of ever increasing complexity and the demands on our attention, energy and bodies seem ceaseless. More and more people are wanting to lead lives of meaning and purpose, longing to make a difference and create change where it’s needed.

The Duality of Full Engagement

It’s a strange time of year. As the holidays stream into the New Year, it can be a time of great duality for many of us.

ICC Updates

Fall greetings to you!

Over the past month as we at ICC have been connecting with people in different time zones and places all over the globe, we’ve been witnessing the seasons chan

Time Off

I will be taking time off from Perspectives to focus on a few larger writing projects.  Please feel free to peruse the archive below.

I will be back!

Wasting Time

The leaves have just started to change colour. In another month the brilliant reds and yellows and oranges will burst forth showing off for the Thanksgiving visitors and families gathering around Canadian tables in October.

JITP Drowning

I have been away from Perspectives for seven months. One year ago I was asked to be the Guest Editor for the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice (JITP) because they wanted to dedicate the Spring 2009 issue to Integral Coaching Canada's work in the world. Although an unusual emotion for me, I optimistically signed up for the adventure. Optimism is not my strong suit.

Human Longing

Summer 2008 is a vague memory. We didn't take time off so it feels as though I missed it. September has been a sunny blessing as I hear that August was rainy. I was in Berkeley and Sonoma and Walnut Creek and Taos and Emeryville. It was gorgeous but I was tired and mostly working or sleeping lousy due to jet leg coming from one direction or another.

All The Way To The Bottom

What do writers mean when they say, "You have to go all the way to the bottom"?

Litter or Layers?

"In my darkest night, when the moon was covered and I roamed through the wreckage, a nimbus-clouded voice directed me: "Live in the layers, not on the litter." Though I lack the art to decipher it, no doubt the next chapter in my book of transformations is already written. I am not done with my changes." Stanley Kunitz

Thanks to 2P

Sometimes I don't give thanks enough, feel gratitude enough, feel fortunate and count my blessings enough. I've never had a great 2nd person relationship with God to find a place to give thanks.
