I believe people tend to keep their best features hidden – sometimes even from themselves. Often passions, talents, desires and hopes for the future get buried under the overflowing to-do lists of daily life. As a coach, I help clients shine a light on the things that really matter to them, helping them connect to others as their truest and fullest selves.
Being Dutch with Indonesian roots and having lived in many places - from Amsterdam, Honolulu, Jakarta to Cartagena, and currently in Aruba – I can relate to many different cultural realities and what it means to be uprooted. I serve clients from all over the globe and work a lot with change makers in the fields of climate and social justice. If we can all connect to their authentic power and show up fully, we can make more meaningful change faster.
I searched high and low for a modality that would allow me to work with people in a way that was both compassionate and truly effective. From the moment I was introduced to Integral Coaching® I knew I had found my path. Being able to meet people exactly where they’re at made sense in a deep and profound way, and this, along with an innate ability to create space where people feel safe and held, is what provides the ground for my clients to engage in the deep transformational work that calls them onward – and inward.
I am passionate about personal and sustainable development. Both my work experience and applied research have focused on individual growth, sustainable development and innovation.
In my coaching practice, I focus on both professional and personal life topics. On the professional side I work with the development of leaders, managers, and sustainability practitioners who want to further their capacities to navigate complex challenges and roles. At the same time, I also coach outside the work realm, on personal life topics such as relationships, personal purpose and more.
Being an eclectic person, I am always learning something new; similarly, different practices keep me centered at different times: playing instruments, writing, meditating, as well as enjoying good food with friends and family.
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
