John is a business consultant and coach to CEOs working with them and their organizations to do in-depth diagnosis and implement “Structures for Success” allowing them to realize sustainable high performance with measurable results to the bottom line. To achieve the value proposition of the engagement, change is required. The types of change include changes in mindset, skillset, strategy and structures for success.
John has been developing and implementing business systems for over 30 years. Most system failures are not system or technology related. Most failures and under achievement are related to the miss-coordination of people, misalignment, or inefficient utilization of resources. Implementing and the effective use of feedback loops are essential in implementing successful structures.
There are no Structures for Success without people who are part of the execution of these structures. In many cases 60 – 75% of the business cost is related to people. John has multiple coaching certifications; Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a Integral Master Coach (IMC) and he is a member of the International Coaching Federation. I help entrepreneurs transform themselves into better leaders.
As the former CEO of an INC 500 business, I know about fast growth and the challenges executives face. At some point, especially when building rapidly growing companies or stepping into new opportunities, we can find ourselves against a wall in terms of our own leadership skills. Old, persistent patterns can get in the way of our ability to fully live into our aspirations. I focus on helping entrepreneurs develop the muscles needed to weather these changes, boldly step into their evolving roles, and confidently lead from a more strategic stance.
A successful exit event in 2011 to a Fortune 500 company led me into this work of helping other business owners navigate their own path of self-development and discovery. Along with Integral Coaching®, my practice is informed by a ten-year relationship with Vistage International (the world's leading executive coaching organization), over twenty-five years management experience, Masters degrees in both Business and Information Systems, and a Bachelors in English (my dad was sure I’d never use). I bring all this and more into my coaching engagements as tools to meet clients where they are, explore where they want to go, and co-pilot their journey.
