“Follow your Smile”, could be my motto!
I try to keep it as a guide to what I do in my Life. And today, I truly love what I do! What is your inner smile and do you follow it in front of decisions, challenges?
After having held several HR roles in different industries and countries in Europe, I am today juggling – with a smile– between my own freelance activities and my senior HR role in the corporate world of a large global company. It gives me the opportunity to support people development in different forms: facilitation and Leadership development training for international Leaders and teams; individual and team coaching....with a smile.
I Live in Munich with my wife and my 2 daughters.
Hello there!
Initially, it was my passion for sport and music, two seemingly opposite endeavours, that compelled my fascination with human uniqueness and personality (What do I do when I don't fit the "box"?!). While competing internationally with Team Canada as a water polo player, I began pursuing various coaching certifications to quench my curiosity. Over time, my fascination with personality, coupled with my lifestyle centered around performance, brought me to my sweet spot: helping individuals and teams understand who they are, what they really care about and how to go get it.
Since retiring from my career as a professional athlete, I have been working independently as well as partnering with different coaching firms. My clients span from a Fortune 100 company to the Canadian Olympic Committee to startup entrepreneurs.
I also began my corporate career about 3 years ago working as the director of global organizational development and then director of global HR at IEC Holden, a multinational organization that makes electric motors (and more!). Although I only watch our people build our motors in awe, I feel great pride that we power the NYC subway and new public transit in Saudi Arabia...or even the expansion of the railway in Africa! At IEC Holden, I began with co-creating and leading our Leadership Development Program with 45 leaders around the world, developing trust with our employees and coaching our management team, and I have recently transitioned to being accountable for all of global HR.
In July 2020, I will take maternity leave for the birth of my first child. We'll see where my career goes from there, although, I do believe I'll venture back out on my own and build back up my coaching and working facilitating practice.

As a coach I therefore specialize in Personal Productivity; I guide people to more effectively make use of of their personal resources.
A little bit about me: I studied geography and made a career as Geopgraphic Information System Specialist. I'm also fascinated by human growth and development, and my longing to actually work in that field motivated me to become an Integral Coach. As for hobbies I practice Aikido and Contact Improvisation (dancing), and I like to spend time in nature and do outside acitivities like hiking and camping.

I offer coaching to leaders in the non-profit, public and private sectors, working with clients who want to be more effective – in their work or home life - but are not sure where to start. I support them to develop the capabilities they need with my wisdom, wit, deep care and commitment. I work with my clients where they are, helping them to grow as leaders.
I came to Integral Coaching Canada through a 25 year career of being curious about people: as a radio and print journalist in the UK and then the founder of a girls’ rights and football (soccer) programme in Kenya. I lived the first 28 years of my life in the UK and the next 20 in Kenya. I returned to the UK in August 2020 and currently work in human and organizational transformation. I develop bespoke personal development programme for groups and individuals, helping them to grow into the leaders they want to be with curiosity, passion and big ideas.
I am a writer, a runner and a lover of all sports.
